DOH! i have been rushing home at night to check the post, really looking forward to seeing my first schedule. Last night i got a nice note from the post man holding it to ransom for £1.06  guess who didn't put enough postage on, i was only 6p short £1.00 for handling. Why did Royal mail have to make it so confusing with stamps these days. |

Could someone clarify for me please, is our five year old still eligble for the novice ridden? (Rules - not to have won a AHS class before 31/12/06). He won both Novice and open at a AHS show last year. Don't want to enter the novice if he isn't allowed in.

Hi Paddie, your stallion would have de-noviced the day he won the novice class so should be entered in the Open section. Also please see our Amateur section rules as you may be elegible for those ridden classes to??

| Er..can I ask a silly question, I want to join NW group, but...I am not going to join the AHS as I don't believe they are acting in the best interests of the breed anymore, and I don't trust them.....why can't I be a full member of NW group? |

Another silly question from myself....is canter compulsory in the Young Riders (12-16years) class....the young girl who showed Crystal in hand last year can ride, but hasn't cantered on her yet....so would it be possible for her to compete, but without the cantering?
And do I get discounted entry fees for being an associate member? |

Can you confirm the closing date is as per the schedule end of February as I was reading the Arabian Horse Society Mag today and the advert for the show say entries close 21st March ? just asking cos not everyone will have foals born and not want to tempt fate in entering before.

I asked the question re entries for this show on my posting above. I appreciate you said th date on the schedule and I have just been on the AHS website and they have a date as 21st march and to ignore the schedule.
I took your date and have sent my entries but if anyone thinks they a pushing to get theirs in on time has the date now been changed to 21st March ?

Hi, nothing odd all cheques go in after closing date! As for entries you will need to speak to Angela THE SHOW SECRETARY! She doesn't see this site often so probably best to contact her on the number on our schedule which can be found on our website WWW.NWAHS.CO.UK

Just we hadn't heard from you hun!!!! we were missing you!!! I take it then the closing date did alter. I got Angela's number programmed into my phone (sad I know) but I always do that...just in case!
Busy trying to get my horse fit for this....she's only lost 80 kilos since the vet put her on a diet in NOVEMBER when she came in! She's still fat! |

Nobodys cheques have been banked yet - I work full time so can't make many trips to the bank! Closing date for entries is 21st so ALL cheques will be taken early next week - Tuesday I would think.
