While at the Equine Event I went on the search for a few bits of missing info & breeding from the Palomino pages on here, to my surprise I was offered the Spring Issue of AQHA.UK which featured an article on the Palomino Hollywood Cotton, said to be the first AQHA imported into this country and who was visited by Roundhills Golden Finale and keeping it in the family.
Hi there , how wierd ....last week whilst looking for the pics of Stourvale Bourbon Rex i found this pic taken in 1983, am sure his name was similar. I`d written Welton Cotton Crackerjack in my album but i looked in a 1979 pally mag tonight & found a filly that was by a stallion called Hollywood Cotton`s Krackerjack ! Does anyone know what this stallion was called ? He belonged to Tim Burgess who had a Quarter horse stud at California Cross nr Totnes in Devon. Tims daughter Debbie was the Blonde in the flake advert with the Iguana by the phone , that i do remember ! ha ha
Hi guys Dont have any photos or any info on this one but have to say what a great story. Sarah - your little snippets of information are fab! What a lovely action shot of Cotton as well. Debs
