No probs(boffin):-))-do you know i only got your e-mail today from about Majidah-naughty pooter!
Is everything sorted-and how is the beautiful girl? Be one awesome foal by Rusleem.
Bee and Kaz are getting fatter, you'd be most welcome to meet them when they hopefully arrive safely into the world. |

My gosh Donna.. such a lovely pedigree your mare has!! I would like to see a picture of her! Is she chestnut (as Datasource say)??
She is 77,51% Crabbet, so you can take her to the Crabbet Show's (with a confirmed letter from Crabbet.org!!
Her sire is a 'mix' of English/Russian/Egyptian-lines (incl 55,43% Crabbet).. and several lines to the precious Courthouse breeding (1x ST SIMON & 2x RASHID).. WOOW! Her dam is 100% GSB incl 99,58% Crabbet.. with one line to the non-crabbet stallion Dwarka via Mikeno.
Sireline: Skowronek Damline: Sobha Strain: Hamdanieh Simrieh (SELMA I)

Hi Donna and Bia and Nikki, May I ad to this that her sire is DOUBLE NUHRA so she also has BAHRAINI blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you want a gorgeous foal why not breed her to one of Jennies stallions!!! And Also I have seen Pandaz quite often in Holland, he is lovely, wonder if he is still around. Monique |

I hadn't looked at the breeding-lovely-well done Donna, lots of pics when she arrives please, and welcome to al. Jenny Lee's owns Pearl Island Arabians, which is the only stud outside of Bahraini, breeding pure Bahraini arabs(which is what Nuhra was) website is www.pearlislandarabians.co.uk
Bia-that is fab news, i am going up to see Dave and Rusleem again sometime this month. I might get lucky and have my picc taken with Rusleem. I was feeling their bellies last night, and could feel wiggles. Bee is due beginning of June, i think Kaz is due late July-haven't got the dates yet. I am positive that Kaz is going to be a wonderful first time mother.

Donna, Icess looks fabulous.. please take some new pic's when you got her home!
I will point you to the most knowledge person regarding bloodlines, breeding.. analyzing everything in your horse etc. etc. It's 'Egbert' in this thread: http://www.arabianlines.com/forum1/topic_new.asp?TOPIC_ID=13253&whichpage=49&SearchTerms=strain
Please add the link to Allbreed (Icess pedigree) when (if) you ask the question there!
Nikki, yes I'm very, very happy that all was sorted out for Majidah. Can you please take some pic's for me too when you visit them.. on both Rusleem and Majidah??

Hi Lou.
Yes, I had it counted out before.. she's 82,74% Crabbet (82,739255 to be precise)! She's approx. 89,06% Old English & 10,94% mainly Polish with a dash of Russian.
The Non-crabbet lines in her pedigree is Dwarka x5, Borak x3, Maidan x2, Manak x1, Mootrub x1, Takritiyah x1, and almost all the Polish lines except one line trough the Russian Nabor (25%) grand-son to Naseem whom is 100% Crabbet.
Hope I got this correct explained, otherwise just ask!

Woow Donna, such a nice girl.. Good Luck with her!
Louise, all my pleasure! I've checked Tobago to be 'roughly' 52,36% Crabbet. His pedigree was a tough match!

Barabia - how do you work out the percentage of Crabbet blood. Or can i be really cheeky and ask you to look at it for me. You have been well recommended. My horse is called Musjid and on All Breed Pedigree he is Musjid2 as Musjid1 is a TB. He was bred by Lady Anne Wentworth (nee Blunt i think). I was always told he was Russian/Polish but what do i know. Any experts out there willing to give advice will be most welcome. My email is Withers62@waitrose.com. Thank you for your time. |

Hi Pixie,
I hope you don't mind that I'm posting the result here! I think it's good to let other people look at pedigree's for learning.. as I've done!
First of all, here's the link to his pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/musjid2
He is 49,12% Crabbet (49,121092 precise), and is bred by a Lady Margaret Harmswoth Blunt.. I don't know who this Lady is? It dosn't mather though, his percentage will not be more anyway!
You are told right.. he is Russian/Polish and Crabbet/Old English, with a dash of French from the damline when you go deep in his pedigree. His dam is bred in Russia (Tersk) but have bloodlines to Poland (mainly), Crabbet and France (Tail female).
His sire is mainly Crabbet/Old English with 25% Polish from Grojec.
Sireline: Skowronek.. to IBRAHIM Or.Ar. Damline: Carabine (imp to Russia from France).. to EMESE Or.Ar. Strain: Seglawi Jedran

Thank you so much Barabia - you are very clever - i am very impressed - and so quick. Thank you - i am grateful. He is a skinny leggy thing - i know he is old now but he always was a skinny leggy thing. i will try and put a picture on here. Not sure how to do that though so may fail miserably.
http://www.araberzuchtverband.de/vzap-neu/folgeseiten-gb/08allnationscup/history.htm - this tells you a bit about Lady Margaret Harmsworth Blunt. She was someone's daughter (obviously) but some one important in Arab Breeding. My memory fails me. |
