Here is the first lot of pictures from Pixie, these are of her lovely boy Musjid, doesn't he look amazing! I've just read this thread all the way from page 1, cannot believe the trials and tribs you've been through Pixie!!! Way to go for getting such a gorgeous pony though...his pics are coming up straight after these

PS, just love the one of him "snake-facing" lmao! |

He was so angry. He wanted to come in and I was putting on Tayf's "pygamas". Made me laugh. Poor Tayf was a bit scared. He got over it though. |

The last photo is Tayf heading off to Gunner for safety after Musjid ran at him. Poor boy. Musjid-horse is a spoilt brat I'll not make the same mistakes with the Tayfmeister - yeah righto! |

Lovely pics Pixie, great one of Musjid face pulling - hows he bred???
Tayf's gorgeous and good race pedigree, are you going to hitch up your stirrups and have a go at Arab racing at Huntingdon next year???
Go on you know you want to.....but maybe leave the Paddington bear jacket behind!

Hi Sundance
Musjid is on all breed pedigree (as is Tayf) he is mostly Polish/Russian or Russian/Polish depending upon your point of view.
And nope defo not hitching up my stirrups to go race riding. I learnt my lesson riding/trying that mare. nearly turned my eyelids inside out. too fast for me. And in any case Tayf isn't very fast and doesn't have THE "attitude". |

Pixie, they are both gorgeous - the old fella looks amazing - I'm sure you've had him bottox-ed. Tayf is a stunner too. How fab that all is turning out so well for you after your looong search. My ignorant, untrained, new to Arabs eye sees your two boys as really quite similar. Methinks you have a type when it comes to geegees, the way some women have with men!!! |

lol at Totalrookie
Today we faced 2 chainsaws. oooo i was a bit scared. Mud filled ditch 2 ft to the left of me and a giant man complete with running chain saw to the right of me. Some other bloke on a ladder 20 foot or more up a tree and branches crashing down. Bugger! Tayf was sooooo tense. taking miniature steps but still going forward. I had a 3 second delay before I got a grip of myself. Gave him a pat squeezed him on. Bless that boy and on he went. such a brave little soldier. Kicking myself for the 3 second delay though. Stupid rider error. I'll not do it again. It'll be forwards and onwars in future. Has really helped me experiencing this though. I need to trust he will do what I'm telling him and I need to believe in my ability a little more. Hey ho. |

Lovely photos of those redhaired beauties. Must be so nice to just brush 'em off instead of the constant bathing us grey horse owners do.. (maybe thats just me) I agree with Totalrookie re having a type of horse - they are similar - love Tayf's blonde mane, he reminds me of Kash's lovely mare Agonia. |

Its funny what you see isn't it. I see a skinny race horse in one and a pretty show horse in the other. They are so different to me. They are as chalk and cheese to me.
Anyway thanks for your positive comments - I appreciate them very much. |

Lesson No. 3 today. And ok so not brilliant but so much better. Saddler is coming on Friday. I can feel a new saddle coming on. Well it would be rude not to. We shall see. |

Ahaaa bring it on - yes new saddle plus new "pretty boy" bridle, hmm what colour numnah do you reckon - a discreet dark blue or maybe a "statement" white with gold lamee edging might be more appropriatetrouble is "you know who" will be instantly jealous so will also be in need of a new wardrobePixie last seen scrubbing the decks frantically on a bank holiday for double time - well you gotta earn a crust some how |

Wow, both the boys are looking seriously good, no wonder they give you so much joy!!!!
Moosie, I think a matching pair of white with gold lamee edging numnahs would be most appropriate for such handsome gents, they will look stunning out on hacks together!!!
