The Classic Show is not just for Arabs, Anglos and PBAs - amongst the other classes we hold we include Veteran Horse Society qualifiers (for the regional final - the winner of which then goes to Olympia). This year the champion was an Irish Sports horse by the name of Old Bailey - he won his in-hand and ridden class and became Champion. Now anyone with a catalogue can find out his age but what about combined age of horse and owner rider?? You WILL be amazed ...

| Marilyn did you meet my friend yesterday who owns a lovely gelding called Cinnebar?? bred by the Murrays.. I wandered why she had to be registered with the Veteran Society though to compete at the classic? |

| Yes did meet Cinnebar again! He was in the Arab vets and the VHS qualifiers - had to be VHS registered if wanted to qualify for regional final (will be held at Myerscough as part of Elite Show in September). |

| oh i see, it is a good idea to point out about the other classes you have at the classic, it caters for lots of different types of competitor...thank god the weather was nice |

Owner rider is Valerie Chown who's owned him for MANY years! Bailey is an Irish Sports horse - breeding unknown. Apparently he looks after himself and comes out with a shiney coat every year! They live in Formby, Lancs. |
