Have to agree with Smiler and Zan, even the most carefully thought out breeding can still end up in the sale ring or the slaughter house, or even worse - totally neglected, unwanted and forgotten in a field in the back of beyond!!
So why can't we raise money in another way. We have many artisan members who are more than generous with their time, services, facilities, produce, experience. We also have members who are techonophobes, so if we all pulled together we could set up a site to "auction" (or introduce) useful donations. Donations could be % off vouchers: for feeds, rugs, show halters, photos, AHS affiliated entry fees or even Membership, books - the list goes on, and on and on!! So no need to be tempted to breed "yet another WANTED (or not) foal"!!!
