Most "agricultural" feed merchants should stock it! It is a "straight" and as such will probably come in a plain brown sack. |

any local feed stockest will be able to get it for you. though you may have to order it if they don't keep it in stock. jolly's and such usually have it. |

Hi Lucy, I am feeding soya meal for weight gain, feed 1-2lbs a day (I introduced it at 1/2lb a day) it is high in protien (48%) I found Equi Jewel good but expensive so am giving this a try, only time will tell, Mandy. |

soya shouldn't be heating, it certaily does effect any of ours that way. it's very rich in oils and vitamins so great for weight gain and bodily condition. |

all i know is that the wholesaler that sue uses is burnhill feeds. it comes in a plain brown bag and that is it.
it may be worth you going and asking a local cattle farmer as they often mix soya cake/flakes. you can feed that the same way but some horses will leave it. the cake is often found in mixes. they may also know if you can get hold of the meal from their supplier. |

hi pascoe, where abouts are you? In Wales you definately can get it from Wynstay for about £5.20 - £5.40. Just outside Oswestry you can also get it from Maelor Feed. In the south of England you can get it from SCATTS - do not know the price. Hope that helps. Gabriele

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all your help, i have now found a supplier and pick it up tonight... OK so how do i feed it, do i have to soak it or can i feed it like i feed my flaked maze???. Sorry to seem dumb or sound thick, but its better to ask people who already feed it. Look forward to your help. Lucy |

you can feed it as it is. i would recommend putting it with chaff/sugar beet though to slow it down in the digestive tract. it's very heavey per scoop so you have to make sure you don't over do the 'by eye' feeding with it as a little weights a lot. |

Just be careful feeding it guys as it is very low in Calcium, feed it with Alfa or sugar beet and perhaps some limestone flour |
