Many of you will remember the story of Ethan who has spent many months each year in hospital having life saving brain surgery and the sponsorship of a young handler trophy in his name at Malvern, well............. he now has a brand new baby sister to join little 'big' sister Lucy who age 4 'looks after' her brother!
Hannah came into the world on May 4th, seven weeks early which gave her a much better fighting chance than Ethan had at 12 weeks early. Mum and baby doing well, Ethan and Lucy also both fine.
I also had cause to celebrate on the horse front recently, my home bred novice mare qualifed for the British Arabian Championship show at Myerscough this August at her first show under saddle apart from one pre-novice class last year.
Its nice when things go well, since 2000 it had been nothing but doom and gloom, losing granddaughter, father and mother in 2000, 2001 and 2002, and Ethans continuing battle for survival.

bless you. Shes ab fab. Theres no stopping the gilr lol, shes 15 this year! Time flies even when it isnt all fun. Give Ethan a big hug and love from us all here.

Thank you all for your kind replies, it was not an easy ride for Becky, she was hospitalised on full bed rest from 1st Feb, both as she was already threatening to go into labour but also due to the high risk from previous difficult caesarians.
We are all so happy with the outcome, so far nothing to dampen our hopes for the new baby's future. Ethan is doing really well just now, no surgery since last summer! I am also lucky my friends daughter is keen to get to some shows in the Arab world, or Mandy might have spent yet another year in the field waiting for me to find the time to do something with her.
