im buying my boy some hoof boots for his fronts and have decided on marquis. anyway i measured him and he comes up as a size 2 but as ive never done this before does this sound about right? as ive got these things so wrong in the past!!
I've no experience with the marquis I'm afraid but we have Old Mac G2's and they are a size 3 for us. I had our trimmer measure the hooves and recommend the best size to make sure they fit really well. Maybe your farrier can help get it absolutely right if you're not too confident yourself?
I got these for my boy and he measured at a size 1. I got them for front and back but he absolutely refuses to wear them so a complete waste of money for me. I keep thinking I must put them up for sale. I would recommend that you try and borrow some 1st to make sure you boy will let you put them on.
I use G2's also. They are excellent and have never rubbed. The longest I used them last year was on a 41/2 hour ride.Sorry can't help with the Marquis.Have you looked on the website to see how to measure them?
