| So very sorry to hear this - I've always thought what a stunning horse he is in your signature photo. I know it doesn't help at the moment, but at least you're in the position to do the best for him under the circumstances; more than we can do for people when they need it. So glad he's coming home to you. |

Oh Sue, so sorry, what a devastating blow! Please, please try not to blame yourself..what can we do bar wrapping them in cotton wool! I do hope Thursday is as pain free for you as possible, and that your boy goes home peacefully. There he will meet all of our dearly departed friends where pain and struggle no longer exists.

I am so sorry poor, poor Goldie. Glad you are bringing him home so he can RIP at home. I too know that sooner or later I too will have to make this decision for my beloved mare (as confirmed today by my Vet). Please come on AL's and confide in your cyber friends/friends, we all feel for you. Best wishes, and lots of love to yourself, your family and to dearest Goldie.

What a tragedy, I feel sick in my stomach, I know how bad you are feeling and wish there was something I could do or say to make you feel not so bad. When something like this happens we all beat ourselves up and the brain just will not let up on the "if only" thoughts. I cant help but I wish I could. Thinking of you and Goldie.
