Just been reading the website and found this:
Does the “no whip contact” rule for halter horses apply at the World Cup?
Yes – USEF Rule AR107.1.h reads “There can be NO contact of the whip to the horse. ANY contact shall result in elimination by the judge.” Ring and Show Stewards will be granted the authority to eliminate competitors that violate this rule in the show ring and the collecting ring.
USEF Rule AR 107.1.i will also apply - “A horse that appears to be intimidated by its handler will be penalized. This may include but is not limited to crouching, cowering, quivering, withdrawing and buckling their knees. Judges may excuse an entry deemed in violation of these restrictions.”

Just watched the geldings god loved the winner loadsa white, wish I was rich enough to take my boys, Doug Dahmen has had my gelding champ before and so has Sylvia I want I want I want I sound like my daughter anyway I can dream and put another ticket onn the Lotto tommorrow night.

somebody from here has gone to Vegas as they mailed me and asked me what was it like as they remembered me going last year,,,,so i copied her my video to dvd of my holiday that i did in vegas last year..didnt realise this was the event she was going to..might have gone again if i had realised that this show exhisted |

I watched a couple of the classes. Set my alarm to remind me to watch the mare ones but too much vino meant i fell asleep!
The live stream worked very well for me, it was like watching it on tv ! |

Do these rules relate to the UK????
Can you tell me the uk times of when the classes start please as have tried to get the link up but it was saying cant connect to website - so assume that it is because nothing is going on!

Morning Jackie! Just off racing (point-to-point)! I think the times are about 7 hours behind us. As far as I know these rules are not for UK - the AHS 2007 rules I have for The Classic don't include them and I'm not sure what USEF stands for - probably someone on SE.com would know? I'll ask! I was rather taken aback (very pleasantly I hasten to add!) when I read them ... The youngsters I watched yesterday were all very focused on the handler. Abit difficult to really access movement as the stream wasn't absolutely clear. I'm out tonight (other interest - tennis club!!) so annoyed I'll miss the stream but I'll have a look before I go! Glad the pal photo was OK!

All that has happened so far, when I have tried to connect is the site knocks out our router & I have to reset the bl**dy thing in order to regain our broadband. I thought that initially it might be a Vista problem, & so tried it on Janet's laptop which is running XP, and got exactly the same effect!! most annoying!! We are using the latest version of WMP (ie v11) & I was wondering what are those who are actually getting through to the live stream using?

Sorry you're having problems. Just our normal broadband.
That was the Jr Gelding Championship. Liberty class now.
Disappointing number of entries but have been some good Arabians shown.
Where are ALL the people??????? All those seats - including VIPs and hardly anyone there???? |
