I (and a few others on here) really like the Ideal saddles and they seem to fit the Arab shape quite well. I have the Ramsey Show saddle which is fine for Showing, dressage and hacking, however, they also do GPs and dressage saddles. If you google them their website will come up with their full range |

hiya, ive had a real dilema with saddles this year! wouldnt recommend this to everyone but i have bought 3 x saddles off ebay and they have been fantastic! ideal saddles are great, also the saddle company saddles as the have a tree that can be easily modified to fit the changing horse like some of the wintec but the seat and panels are leather google 'the saddle company'they are nice i also bought a lovely all suede saddle for showing which was made by barker saddlery which fits my arab well too! best thing you can do is get saddler out and see what hopefully will be the best ,the saddles that i have bought off ebay have been checked and adjusted with the flocking etc & turned out to be a really good buy! |

Hi, I just ordered an ideal jessica dressage from Chobham Rider they came up and measured my horse and ideal will make it to his shape. I did try ebay but my arab is really wide behind and needing about 10.5 inches between d-rings on a 16.5" saddle and nothing came up. They do have some really nice saddles for sale if your horse is a bit narrower through. |

Iam also getting a new saddle But not sure on what colour to get. The saddle man came today and said Star is extra wide. He is going to bring a few different makes with him next time and see what fits him best which is probably going to be the dearestI had a look at some the other day and the cheapest was £710 |

I had an Ideal Jessica Dressage saddle Templated to my boy about 5 years ago and its absolutley fab and fits like a glove it cost me £760.00 and it was money well spent, it still looks like new.
My friend just bought a Black country one, it was also templated to her PBA and to be honest there's not much diffrence between the two other than the whooping price tag of the Black country one at £1450.00 |

Hi my anglo has been fitted with a Jeffies Hawk wide fitting and it is ace. I have also just had a Ideal working hunter wide fitting saddle. They are both professionally fitted and are both comfortable for my horse and me. Hope this helps. |

I love the Black Country Saddles but enjoyed riding my boy in my C & J Copeland (Walsall) saddles.
I still have my dressage saddle for sale on Arabian Lines, if anyone wants to offer it a good home |

I have an Trekker Master dressage saddle and it fits him amazing it looks like a normal saddle and has memory foam so dosent hurt just moulds to his shape as he is very short backed and very broad.... I spent ages researching saddles and looking for the perfect one.. |
