Oh dear poor you - one step forward and three steps back. I just wonder if she really is Sophie then like Sian was so convinced she was, after all Sophie did go to Anglesea - but then you believe she is a lot older and Mollie isn't sure that it is her and doesn't remember that flesh mark! |

The wee foals are good for mares that are already confirmed in foal and have been checked for twins but you think may have lost their pregnancy - like one of your girls. But no if you can get a twinning scan done then this is the best option I think too. |

she is going back to her old owner and she is going to get her scanned so dont need one for her now, could`nt keep her as she was upsetting all my other horses and my new arab mare has bite marks all over her from her and i cant have her herding my mares with foals, she is the dominant mare see so when she runs they all run and my horses are so calm usually. |

Oh - sounds like she has been upsetting your herd - alpha mares can be VERY bossy! One less mouth for you to feed over winter How many horses do you own & how many do you loan? I get very confused when you talk about them...which is which I mean LOL |

Hi yes one less mouth to feed, ive only got her on loan, i felt sorry for her as her owner hadnt touched her for years and couldnt even catch her even though she is broken to ride, she was so fat she could hardly breath and her owner left her for two weeks in a field full of grass when she had laminitis so i bought the other horse that was with her and took her on loan, the other horses feet were so long at the back it was struggling to get around and it had got an infection where he had been castrated and he had never been handled and she couldnt catch him either. I have sold the other horse to a lovely home and he is going in october, safi is going home or she is loaning her as a broodmare to someone else but i cant keep a horse like that as i dont have acres of land and cant have her upsetting my others, she is really nervous and it rubs off on the others, for example we had our haylage delivered last week and even though the tracter was nowhere near her she panicked and ran off so they all followed, this week she isnt in that field as i have separated her untill her owner comes to get her and the other horses didnt care about the tracter and theo my stallion was following it lol just shows how one horse can upset all the others. |

and thats not the only reason why she is going back, ive tried my best to get a bond with her, tried some join up but that didnt work, i caught her the other day (had to corner her with rope) for the farrier and she was dangerous, she knocked the farrier flying because she doesnt care if she tramples over you, she has no respect for your space and throws her weight around and would jump straight through you if she was cornered or spooked, she is the most nervous horse ive ever come accross and thats in about 50 odd that ive worked on, but even though she is nervous she isnt fightened of running you over and she is a 15hh fat welsh cob That explains why her owner didnt want to be there when i picked her up in the first place and conveniently cant be there to pick her up from mine. |

Hi yes ive given her a good chance but she doesnt want to know anyone, she has been like this all her life so sh doesnt se why she should change now, she is 12, its her owners fault for just leaving her in a field for all that time. when she first came i caught her quite often and just groomed her as she enjoyed this but still wont come to you unless she has to. she has now gone, her owner didnt even come to pick her up, she just got someone else to loan her for a broodmare and they picked her up. |

I got a letter off the AHS today saying they havent found a match with the horses ive given them which are mc natalie jabask, mc madchens jabask, jabask sabrina, mc lady misteri, just a legend and jabask sakara but they are going to compare her to some more of pegi`s fillies and will contact me if they find anything but it will take some time, if they cant find a match in any of them then i will get her dna`d to see if she is the filly out of mc natalie and tc jabaskman as there is much more of a chance if the others are eliminiated. It suprised me this morning as i thought they had given up! but they spent 4 hours looking last week |

Oh good, its a shame nothing has come up yet, but it is great that they are putting in so much effort for you. Are there many that went unregistered that would be fifteen or over, or is it only Sophie? |

right! just had a phonecall off the AHS and they have looked at every single one of pegi`s mares and compared the to heather`s markings and she doesnt match up with any of the mare owned by pegi on their data base lol so she is more likely to be the 15 year old out of mc natalie and by tc jabaskman (sophie jabask)but its going to cost me £106 to get her dna`d and it has to be done by blood then its going to cost £165 to get her reregistered |

Sophie Jabask does not actually exist........she was just put on all breeds under that name because she was an unregistered filly born in that year from that mare by that stallion.......SO the AHS would not have any details of her.Whoever put her on all breeds called her Sophie. |

Thats the same price it has cost me to get Crystal Leda done. It is expensive isn't it. As yet I have had no results back from the AHS, so the longer it takes makes me think it must be a match and they are producing a passport - or is that just wishful thinking - its been about five weeks now since I sent the blood in. Are you going with the blood test then? Does this lady still own this mare, or is she saying your girl could be the mare that she used to own?

she still owns her. I will have to save up some money before i can get heather tested. Ive contacted a girl who has an 11 year old grey arab mare who was bought from a sale and was unhandled, no papers, could be one of the jabask horses, she is going to find out more details for me but it sounds promising |
