Is Sian Jones not Pegi`s daughter? I recall either on this thread OR indeed on Halonas thread there is a message from Sian who calls Pegi her mother!!!!!! I will try to find it.
Its not so confusing really.........its a complete crock!!!!!! |

Thank you so much for getting in touch with me. I do know the mare and I
have received another e-mail from a lady with two mares, one white and one
chestnut.
My mother did not sell any of the horses, but that is not your fault. When
my mother came out to the middle east she left the horses in the care of her
husband and her son. When her husband died her son got rid of all the horses
with out the knowledge of his mother. He kept on saying that all the horses
were well and that was that. Till two years ago when we went home in the
summer and we had no horses. I am trying to trace as much of them as
possible, but it is very difficult as he got rid of them with out their
passports. The mare that you have I think is a daughter of MC Natalie out of
TC Jabaskman. If you contact the AHS they will be able to send you a copy of
her markings so that you can compare both.
If you need any assistance I would be happy to help you.
The mare looks great and I will be sure to show my mother the photo"

Basically Pegi (stud owner) did decided to up ship and leave, she did go to Saudi Arabia, however Sian is not her daughter merly someone with email and internet access who works alongside pegi. I talk to Sian daily and both her and I have been trying to resolve this for 2 years.
I can confirm Pegi did not sell the horses to Mr Savage, more that they were illegally sold without there paperwork by her son. (Pegi if your reading Im not ring your dirty laudry, more explaining on your behalf that you didnt sell the mares without papers) Around 60 horses in total were illegally sold and many of them went through a Brightwells sale also and few were in so poor condition we were hopefully if they are still alive. I'm not sure on the circumstance but Pegi found out they were sold a little late, being over there im sure there isnt much she can do.

In her post yesterday she refers to Pegi as her mother also.....the whole thing is a mess!!!!!
I am very sad after reading all this information - first of all one person said that we had just left the horses and went to live it up in Qatar - what utter BULL****!!!! (PARDON MY FRENCH) but little knowledge is a dangerous thing - let me put it to you like this. My mother came out to the middle east in 1996 with 11 arabian horses selling them to a qatari person - the deal went wrong and we still have 10 of those horses with us today and in fab condition (so we are not cruel to our horses - somedays I would say that our horses get better care than we do!!!!!!!!!) so my mother took this company to court and still the case is ongoing - 8 years down the road.
Our horses in Wales was left in the good care of my father and my brother - my father had a stroke and we lost him so what my brother has done to these horses after he was sent money to take care of them is another question - he is the one in the wrong here not my mother. We have contacted Eric Jones a man from Anglesey to see if he still has any of these horses and have contacted Llanybydder & Beason and still nothing - We are looking to get as many of these horses back as we posibly can
So please take matters into consideration before throwing horrid acusations at people

Bridie, I'm still with you on this one..! Too many unanswered questions for me. Are Shian and Sian the same person? I'm getting really confused now. Also is it not possible for "Pegi" to look at the pictures, maybe she will recognise Rachel's mare? Or has she already done this! We could do with a summary of who is who in this awful mess. Everybody concerned owes this to the poor horses who are unaccounted for or deceased.
I tried calling Daphne Cocksedge last night but no reply, will try again tonight.

Hi jessiemae, there are two sian jones`s, pegi`s friend and someone else who has a couple of theses arabs. Sian (pegi`s friend) has seen pics of my mare and is not quite sure who she is but she could be sophie jabask or jabask sakara.

ive been emailing the man who dealt with azzeme jabask to try and get info on where his owner bought him from, he is from fairfield, not sure where that is but is going to try and find more info, he is also going to put an article on his website about the jabask arabs, how nice |

| nope she just knows who they were by, on page 12 of this post is a list of the horses that went through malvern sals, i think she may have got the sires mixed up. |

| Molde, These are all from the list on Page 12, If it was by Secret Partner & at Malvern sale it's one of those I've listed above, if not then somebody is realy mixed up and have'nt got their facts right, maybe its the other Shian thats bought them and they did'nt tell each other.... Sue |

Hi Bia, This should be the Esme Jabask,could be a 9year old, 1998 ormight be the 1994, from the AHS stud book, a bit older with the same breeding name.I think it should be an 'e' on the end not an'i' although we do have a different date of birth for another one with an 'i' on the end....just to confuse the issue.... Back on Page 5 Sian said that she didn't want to trace the horses sold at Brightwells as it was Peggy that sent them there (that they had 110 and needed to reduce stock). Sian and Peggy want to trace the ones sold after 2000 (these being the ones the son sold without their knowledge). They returned from quatar in 1998 and sold these horses themselves.
Therefore, all the ones that went for meat, sold for £60 etc were sold by Peggy herself. These are the ones we have been tracing - but for our own bennefit not Peggi's. I feel sorry for them that the horses were sold while they were away (about 80 if you do the maths) but they were obviously quite hard faced themselves if they sent these 30 to sale with no reserves.
I have counted about 50 horses that we have mentioned at some point - but some of these may be private owners who put their mares to Gellidara's stallions. This still leaves a lot of horses - which Moldequines could be anyone of!!!!!
Going back to the first page- it says that a Shillada was registered to peggi who had Sharondara(82) and shardar (86). Could this be a line of enquiry??
I really dont think a bay mare would have turned grey - Basky is 17 and has no grey hairs at all! Also, I will send you some more pics of Basky - as I said earlier he looks like he's had at least 5 foals and he's a gelding! My vet thinks that he has had worm damage from being grazed on bad pasture - this could be why your mare looks pot bellied. I also noticed Jabask Sweetie (1986) Grey mare - don;t think she's been mentioned?? She still could be MC Natalie if she didnt die foaling (could be a mistake).
I think you should bite the bullet and do a DNA hair test!!! We are all dying to find out! |

There is still several I need to clear up, a bit like a snagging list, some are the US ones that arrives here and some are those that bred here, I think the easiest thing would be to list them and see who knows what..a bit like Sweetie, Choice,Afire, Khissed, Crystal Jabask ,Jontue, etc. etc.

i want to do a dna test but there are too many to match to, the ahs said if i am pretty sure which one she is by her markings then do the dna to get her papers. What colour are these other mares that have been mentioned that could be my mare?
sian didnt want mollie to know she was looking for the horses which i find a bit odd, she askd me to ask mollie where thy wre but not to mention sian`s name!
Perhaps mollie and tom still have some of the other horses and just dont want sian or pegi to know. |
