Try Flickr......much easier than PB!
Ah - thought she looked very Araby Ginger is 56.25% ASB & something like 12/5% Arab.......her dam was a purebred ASB....but they still look similar
You & she would enjoy endurance riding........I've been playing at it for many years Hopefully "one day" I will get Ginger started......we did a 10 mile EGB PR two years ago & she was brilliant! Just not done anything since! |

Hi Judith, At least you've got next year to look forward to, at the momentI am not sure what to do, Amber is to young to back and it looks like my old boy is nearing retirement earlier thatn I had hoped, if anybody has got any good remedies/tips for arthritis, it would be much appreciated, if not then it looks like another horse is on the books |

Hi marion, Copy the IMG (image) code, by hilighting it, and right click "copy", and "paste" it on to your post. Just make sure that the code is fully hilighted, right from the beginning. If that doesn't work, get back to me |

Hi, I'm new here and I have recently bought a Roundhills horse. His name is Monty (Roundhills Gold Montana). He is by Moonshine Vision and is out of Roundhills Hawaiian Sensation. He is a very sweet chap standing at 17hh but can be a little dippy sometimes Here he is
Does anyone have any pics of his dam or sire as I would love to see them. I have searched high and low for them on the net and have not found any Thanks Sharon |

Hi Sharon Monty looks great - what a big beautiful boy. I have definitely seen at least one picture of Hawaiian Sensation with a foal at foot which I will scan in for you when I get a chance. There are loads of Moonshine Vision earlier on in this thread and of his sire Zalaman. Happy hunting with your photos. I will have a look on my pedigree charts to see if there are any others I can send to you. My one horse (Fayrelands Hawaiian Dawn) is related to Sensation and my other (Springtimer Fabulous) is related to Moonshine Vision. Best wishes Debbie |

Yes please Saddlebred, I would love to see pics of Hawaiian Sensation
He is a big boy but so gentle I bought Monty as my Irish TB has arthritis in his coffin joint so he has gone into semi-retirement at the age of 12 (lucky boy) He is here to do some riding club activities, I'm quite keen to get into dressage after having a taste of it on Donnegan. Unfortunately we have had a bit of a setback Monty reared up and fell over backwards on me whilst out on a hack. I asked him to walk downhill and he could'nt. He was'nt advertised honestly, they had said he had done more than he had. He is basically a 6yo in a 3yo body so he is currently having some schooling and building up slowly. But he is such a lovely chap that I think he is worth spending the time and money on. I'm so pleased I have found this website, it's great to see all the pics of these stunning horses which are related to my boy |

Have you had your boy checked since his going over accident....McTimmoney Chiopractors are very good!

Hi Montana6
Here is the picture of Roundhills Hawaiian Sensation that I promised you. This is from the Winter 2002 edition of Palomino magazine and shows her with her two day old 2002 filly. Sensation was 18 years old in this picture.
Isnt she gorgeous - my idea of the perfect big palomino. Imagine what a fantastic palomino NSH she would throw! Best wishes Debbie |

Thankyou so much for that, Debbie
Crikey she was 17 when she had Monty then?
She looks lovely and so does that filly It is really nice to have a horse with a traceable background, I don't know who my Irish TB was by |

Hi Judith,
How old was Ginger when you got her and did you back her, if so was she easy, Have just noticed that you said her first reaction was to rear, unfortunately that is just what Amber does when she can't get her own way, so it is always slow, patient and calculated, she also has a temper when doing something she doesn't want to to do like being in the stable when she thinks she should be in the field.
Have just started getting her in the trailer, last night first time, but not too bad and we will get there, if not we have got a long walk as I am moving her back to the yard where my old boy is,

Here is another Roundhills horse to add to the collection.
This is Roundhills Autumn Glory (Moonshine Vision x Shepley Tiara). She is the dam of my youngster Jazz and is full sister to Diana May's Roundhills Maysong.

Just caught up with this topic. We have a two year old cremello colt by Moonshine Vision, out of Shulay Coral. That makes him the full brother to Marion's filly. He is Roundhills Crystal King and will be standing at stud with us in 2008. He's going to be a big boy and will mature to around 16 hands. Photos taken at 10 months, just after we got him. We also have two home bred palomino mares, Malibu Surfbreaker and Kahlua Moonbeam who are both by Kennox Zalsun, 2003 British National Ridden Palomino Champion, who was himself by Zalaman.
