I've ordered a ASC Solstice for Mia, so hope that works for her. My saddler brought out a ASC showring for me to try for size, for me and the horse and also to double check the width, the one he let me try was a 17" wide, soon found out that we need a 17.5" wide. The only problem I found with the one he brought out was that the seat was SO slippy. My new one will have a more grippy seat. When we were on a riding holiday across Wales last Oct, one of the horses had a Ideal Ramsey on, he went really well in it. I was riding one of the other horses (tecwyn), but as I'd had problems with the sturip leathers on day one, I changes horses on day two and so had a day riding in the Ramsey. I have to say that it was lovely to ride in. They sorted the leathers out on day 3, so I had Tecwyn back. |

mad arab rider, i was just wondering if i could be nosy and ask how much you are paying for your new saddle? you can email me at suneanarab@hotmail.com to either let me know or tell me to mind my own business. won't be offended if you don't want to tell me. i just like to know what other people are charging for them.
sarah, i hope you enjoy the ramsay as much as i love mine!

I've got two saddles for sale if anyone is interested, for sale on Arabian Lines Misc Section, of course.
I can't bring myself to part with Khasim's showing saddle but I do have his dressage & GP available, both of which have been used once at the Nationals 2004.
Very comfy, take a look |

Hi Pasha
All the details/condition etc are exactly the same as my ad for the GP saddle on the Misc. Section of Arabian Lines. Let me know if you need any further help |

Thanks - i'm assuming a Standard 2 fit is a medium? Pash is a Wide/X-Wide at least. |

Aww Sarah thats a shame. Always the way when you have your heart set on something! I am sure you will find something suitable if you keep looking. Try and convince yourself that this one was no good cos there's a much better one out there waiting to be found!!! Just checked ebay but they didnt have the matching donkey lol! Sandie |

Hi
I have just bought myself a new showing saddle first I tried a Ideal Ramsey but the stirrup bars rubbed my thigh then I tried a Barnsby which was really comfy and smaller then expected.

Sazzlepants, I have the Ideal Jessica and I love it and no judge has ever complained about it. I had the straps shortened and I don't reckon it looks out of place at all and is very very comfortable. |

Hi Sarah,
I'm fine thanks although I could do with emailing you if that's ok. Can you email me your email address or post it on here? Hope you are ok?
Congrats to you too cos I think I just saw that you passed your PJI at the clinic the week before. I take it you rode your own horse this time and not a whizzy pony LOL!! Hopefully see you soon for a catch up?
Sorry to hear you aren't getting on with the Ideal. I would lurve an all suede saddle so I hope you get on with that a bit better. You shouldn't listen to me though cos my tack is black!! *sharpintakeofbreath* |
