Nick, If you're thinking Straight Egyptian, why not try Classic Maidan? That could also be a wonderful combination!
Lynn, I think you must be right - perhaps we could get Stuart to ask them?

Thanks Sue
It's very interesting to see how a full sister to Faery Rose has done so well in riding disciplines. How old is Silver Faery?

She's a 1990 foal, and also did a few season with Clare Hutchingson doing Endurance with EGB, Clare has a load of action photo's of her and I guess it would have been around the same times/years as the Marathon...before she went back home to Marjorie and back to stud...I last saw her when she had her Rusleem filly foal, which is now three and coming up for sale, I think...Silver Faery is white.. and just spotted the Faery Snow Pic winning the brood mare championship. |

My mare is related here too, i have just put new thread above on the Banshada topic,as banshada is grandsire, silver scenario the other grandsire, and Zacaria being her sire,to have both sides of her family tree 2 topics apart seemed a bit of a coincidence!!!! my mares name is Caria Nakora, her pic is in my sig ,still learning how to upload at the mo, when i work it out properly will add some up to date pics.

I have just seen one or two old pictures of Faery Rose (AHS No. 71) winning.
Silver Faery did a few seasons Endurance,The Arab Horse Society's 26 mile Marathon twice and Man v Horse twice with Clare Hutchinson, before returning home to Stud. She has a 3year old Rusleem filly and due to foal soon... ..

Do you have any more info about the marathon? I don't think I've heard about it before.

If anyone is interested in using Faery Snow bloodline, there is a stallion in Essex White Cossak (White Lightening x Faery Snow). About 18 now. Half brother to Camargue and also to Faery Rose. Owned by Ann Plumb. Has done extremely well in affiliated dressage. See his story on www.performancearabians.co.uk |

Thanks for the link Gloria
It is wonderful to see such a beautiful Arabian horse go out and prove himself as White Kossak has done.
Sue,
Thanks a lot for posting the Silver Faery photos - could you send them to me in a bigger sized version? I would love to add them to my collection of photos for Pav's family album My email is annefinnerup@yahoo.com
Thanks a million

Hi Anfi, Clare Huntchinson has passed all the better pic of Silver Faery to her owner, so there will be others. The Marathon in run each year by the AHS, in October & over 26 miles, its usually well supported by the race/Endurance folks and conculdes the season for many and well worth a day out and not always won by the Arab horses and usually get a report mention in the AHS News...if you need any more info just ask, Kirsty who post on AL usually gets a ride and I've got a few snaps in my collection...And if Silver Faery has a colt this year watch out we'll have another in the family breeding.......regards Sue |

What about naming her Faery Solstice then? Or Faery Spring? Who's the father of the foal?
Congratulations to the breeder

Awww she looks adorable - do you think she will become grey? Very interesting breeding - she is linebred to Witraz through Bask, Bandola, Ellora, and Karramba - she should be Quality all the way!! She a keeper, that's for sure!
