There was a Royal Ensign that either is standing or stood at Trellech Stud (Mr & Mrs J S Gould). I don't know whether that is the correct horse. If it is him, he is an anglo arab by Alex (Pure Bred Arab) out of Ruling Sovereign (TB). Most of his progeny have competed in show pony type classes. A good percentage of show ponies that have a prefix Trellech will be by him. There are some detailed on www.allbreedpedigree.com - hope this answers a few queries and good luck in your search. |

Cassie, I get your mare to 78.1/2% or therabouts.Linsign was small for his breed, and I think I've read an article about him in one of the AHS mags, with pictures...I'd like to see pictures of your mare and can you tell us her name. There is another PBA Royal Command of Wentward bred the same way as yours.was she bred in Evesham. I can remember many of Carol& John Gould ponies, they bred many lovely ponies from around 1970.

Royal command of wentward is her full brother owned by a lovely lady my very good friend Anne, my other filly is in foal to him for 3/3/08
The mare i have is owned by same lady who bred her and on a long term loan to me, she is a stunning mare and won all over her name is SIMPLY IRIZISTABLE, Theese two horses are homebred out of Anne's mare Anarkali, she is a lovely lady and has some stunning horses, she has become a good friend to me and i cant thank her enough for letting this little mare come to me, this mare is around 14.2/14.3hh as is Spider aka Royal command of wentward, he is a stallion with the most ammazing temperament too:), i cant wait to see the result of my other mares foal by him too as to date all his stock are stunners, they all look identical too
The mare i have has had one filly foal a bright bay by applauze and she is a stunner, now two years old and very much a show pony type, she is very dainty and really pretty with real show attitude, i cant wait to see the result of TOBAGO covering and all xd her 2nd foal is bigger heightwise though (applauze is smaller than TOBAGO and first filly is very much a show pony but wont be that big in height, she does have the look of royal linsign in the head and her outline, overall a real quality little filly) |

I am still having trouble putting my pics on here. Sorry!. I think Linsign gets his colour and markings from Mcgredy - identical. |

Just compared the two pics again - sorry , their hind sock is on different legs. Think I"m a bit annoyed at not getting the pics to work - been trying all evening. I will sort it out, and I will put them on. |
