hi i was wondering if any one had any pics or info on al murab ive tried the all pedigree datbase but nothing , hi is the gran sire to my mare ang gelding nazreen and ben nazzar (nazzar x melika bint maurab ) please forgive my spelling many thanks kathryn

Hey,
The stallion Al Maurab, Was put to my mare sadlt she has died but the gelding that won the gelding class at the horse of the year show this year is my mares son and Al Maurab is the sire, If you look in tracing owners forum you will see my name and the info on the woman who replied to me reguarding

Hi all
I was lucky enough to see Al Maurab in the flesh (at one time on a regular basis).
As mentioned he is sadly no longer with us and stood with Nicki Howarth at that time.
Me and my sister bought a filly by him who is just starting her ridden career (not with us, we sold her) and who also produced a stunning filly for us by Psyches Image R.

Some of you might just be interested to see the Posting under Pedigree & Bl.....Under....Gleam of Flame & Bright Gleam.
Al Maurab(1981)out of, Al Malika, ex. Bright Gleam(1958).
Gleam of Fame, is also from a Al Malika mare, Masbut Bint Malika.... Al Malika(+ photo),Bourne Hill Arabians and others Arabs from this line feature in an article in an old AHS News...Al Maurab was 1990 British National Ridden Champion.and there is a photo of him under saddle at Malvern that year and you can see a photo of him on the allbreeds. |

"Gleam of Flame" was not out of "Masbut bint Malika" it was "Crystal Gleame" that was out of that mare.It was also "Gleam of Fame"that was out of that mare.
"Gleam of Flame" was by "Silver Flame" out of "Bright Gleam"

A Photo of Ben Rabba, Al Maurab's sire, was also featured in Bowdell Stud's page,in the same 1990 No.75, AHS New.....the pic was taken in the Carmel Mountains and writes of his son Al Maurab, Aukubra (grandson) & Aureme(granddaughter)and mentions Aurabba, Aurela, Aurelian, Istahan, Aurellia, Aureme, Aurab and restoring the Nasik male line. |

Hi Marie, If you look at Molly's(Sameon Maurabba)allbreeds listing and call up the photo's you will see two of these pictures, Ben Rabba & Al Maurab under saddle, I think it was Malvern in 1990. The article I will email when I've heard from you....
PS. Let Pauline have a decent photo of your Molly and ask her to stick it on the allbreeds for you, we will all be able to enjoy it then........Sue |

Dahab Ameer, with sire Al Maurab and dam Mabsuta Bint Cairitta, is related to Al Malika and Bright Gleam and you may want to also checkout postings on Gleam of Flame.
and was it Ameer that won at Horse of the Year....
Can someone tell me how Solario is bred and is he a pure bred Arab... |

Mabsuta & Rowanmore, have had a posting going on, you'll have to look at Mabsuta's Profile and key into the old posting to see what they've said....
To Mabsuta, On the mare's side there seems to be few photographs available, have you access to any pic's of this mare and predecessors....
Pauline, Also Golden Aura is by Al Maurab ex. Al Malika.
and Dahab Ameer(1995) is by Al Maurab ex Al Malita....all related to your mare. Crystal Gleame..by Al Malika & Bright Gleam)... Now got to look at Sutina(1987) by Simeon.... Sue |

| hello, What is all the goings ons about solario, Benaiah and Mabsuta bint cairitta, I owned and bred Benaiah and I owned Mabsuta Bint Cairitta, untill death parted us. She was a very special mare, and after the research I done discovered and most of the owners that had her treated her badly including the person I bought her off. Also Solario is owned my Jennifer Leslie. And Sutina is out of Mabsuta Bint Cairitta, as is 20 foals, some registered some not. Does anyone else own any on Mabsuta's babies? |

Hi Mabsuta, we are interested in Al Maurab and in particulare the Al Malika/Bright Gleam offsprings/ line, hope that answers your querie, also surprised at how many of these horses are missing from the allbreedspdedigree site and wonder why folks are not using this site, where horses breeding can be confirned and added for free...
If you would like any help adding the 20 or so foals.just ask...
Please can you give me the Name of the Gelding that Won at Horse of the Year, I can't seen to find it....Thanks Sue...
