Do you have or know where is melika bint maurab? I just realised she is my Molly's full sister!
I'd love to see a picture as well!

hi marie ,
i will contact reg and janet , they have melika bint maurab or "fliss" as she is best known . leave it with me i know and have a lot do with two other sibling called rica and florence (not to sure of prefix names ) but leave it with me i will get some pics and get them to you kathryn |

Dahab Ameer is very like his father. In an earlier posting it was suggested that all previous owners did not treat Mabsuti (Daham Ameer's dam) very well. I refute this statement as I was a previous owner and know 2 of the owners prior to me. Suti was always treated really well. Maybe some people do not consider using a horse as a brood mare as treating her well but she was always happy and a wonderful mother.
I do agree she apparently was not treated well when she was sold on in Ireland. |

| I owned Tillie, (mabsuta bint cairitta)for the last years of her life, I know for a fact she was in a hell of a state when i bought her, and according to what i have been told by several people, she had spent most of her life in bad ways, i never said all her previous owners did treat her bad,She also had foals for almost every year of her life up untill Benaiah. She was a a incredible mother and friend. i do know of some prior owners who did look after her really well. And as for breeding, I see no problem with but not every year, and when old age kicks in. |

| Like I said it was in Ireland she was treated badly and she was sold on with the understanding she would not be put back in foal. Unfortunately you cannot always control what people will do and I am so pleased she had a good home for the last years of her life. |

Any news on melika bint maurab? Her full sister Sameon Maurabba (my Molly) is due to foal this weekend.

| Well I cant remember all the pro's & cons but I still have a spare copy of No.75 with the Bowdell Syuds pic of Benn Rabba & bourne Hill page on Aureme & Al Maurab. etc....good luck with your foaling.... |
