Hi i know i dont post on here much, but i thought some of you would like to know about fire and zircon. They were both sadly put to sleep on the 1st of august. Zircon had devolped wobblers and was a danger to himself and us, and fire has malasbportion and was getting any goodness from his food and he also had a bad heart murmour.
RIP Silent Fire 1980-2006 (Naxif x Silent Dove) RIP Zircon Enchanter 1984 - 2006 (Donax x Kazaba) There will be a small obituary in the arab horse news

I am sorry to read this Nat.
I will remember Fire 'Dancing' rather than thinking of him getting older.
You must all be missing them both terribly.

Hi Nat.....I will also treasure my memories of these wonderful old boys....I have some lovely pictures from the last time we visited.I was hoping to get up again before they were sent on their way......I know they will leave a big void at Asoka. Hope you are all OK.
Best Wishes
Mandy & David.
RIP Fire & Zircon......such beauty & grace. |

I'm really sad to hear this news too - I also have wonderful memories of attending an open day at Asoka a few years ago and seeing the beautiful horses there and the unique breeding programme - though my heart especially was lost that day to Fire the magical chestnut dancing stallion, strutting his stuff to the rock 'n' roll music.
Hugs to you all at this time...

Thank you all for your kind words, We still have fires son, Asoka Sherif, but he isnt fire, he took more after his dams egyptian side (Malabar) than Fire's Crabbet lines. And sadly, we never used Zircon, i think he has some foals somewhere, but i dont know where. |
