I go to York quite often(mainly just for a nosey and a hot pork pie). It was pointed out to me last week that York is one of the best sales to go to but if you go be prepared for all the sad faces that look at you wondering where they are going next.There have been alot of sport horses types going through lately and although I don't really pay much attention to them there did seem some very decent horses but as Angie says make sure if you buy that you buy a warrented horse. It's not as bad as many sales, in fact it's quite nice as far as horse sales go. I bought my current stallion from there, El rashid and admittedly he was in a horrendous state. However, the majority we've seen go through are in acceptable condition. We live 5 minutes down the road from it so can always pop along
