Here are some photos that we took today of the old boy - he looks rather different to when he came to us last October - hes fit & muscled up (his paddocks are on a steep hillside!) - doesn't look bad for his 18 years - well I think so - & yes hes still muddy (lives out 24/7)!! Sorry so many photos - but I'm very proud of the old fellow! Hope you enjoy!

Hi - thanks - no I don't ride him - he was broken to ride many years ago apparently!
Can you see the photos - I can't - only box with red cross - just wondering what I've done wrong - thought I'd posted same as other photos I've done before?!

Nice to see you on here!
Joanna - my Vet (Polish & loves Arabs!!) wants to have a go on him - but first we have got to get his front foot sorted - he came to us with the most terrible crack all the way up the front - with white line disease & seedy toe present! My farrier has been working on this foot & now thankfully things are looking a lot better - he was here yesterday to do him again. |

Ahhh....so happy you all think hes looking AOK!!! If & when - the rain stops & we have sun again - I will get him in & polish him up & take a posh photo - now that will shock him, me, you & everyone else!!!
Hes such a gentleman - our farrier, vets all comment on how well behaved he is - even when they stick needles in him for bloods - OH just held him on his headcollar on a loose rope in the field & the old boy just stood there! No fuss whatever we ask of him!
We are going to cover two of our Arab mares & also a friends PBA endurance mare soon - so his bloodlines will continue! Our friend has voluntered his services as "stallion man" - hes worked in the past for a big Arab stud with the stallions - he came to meet Rameed last week & couldn't get over what a lovely fellow he was - even round my other neddies. Hes coming up again end of this week to spend more time with Rameed to get to know him more.
Having seen Rameed in hand now hes feeling AOK - I can see "the" Rameed that his prev owners said used to WOW the crowds/judges when he was shown inhand - his movement at the trot is to die for - POWER
But whatever - hes here now & much loved

Delighted to announce that the old boy is still fertile Tessa (Runbolds Contessa) has been scanned today & is in foal! Very excited as this will be our first foal for many years!

| Thanks Claire! Yes I think you are right - amazing oldies!! My Vet wanted to see him & was amazed at how well & muscled up he looks for 18! Rameeds paddocks are on the slope so he is working all the time - keeps him well toned! |

| wow Judith you should certainly give yourself a pat on the back! He's a totally different shape now imo you've knocked 10 yrs off him, in previous pic he's got similar shape/tone to Honey and she's 28! (off to look for a hill or 2 for Honey to climb!LOL....just kidding!) |
