I love the Weatherbeta foalie rugs - but they finish a 4' 3" & Charlie will be OK in a 4' 3" for a little while - Ruby will need a larger rug soon.
Recommendations please for NZ rugs suitable for foalies!! Ruby, because of her Quarter Horse build rather than her Arab 1/2 - will soon need shoulder gussets & generous bum coverage!!
Charlie will be far easier to fit than his sister

I have a Masta one, it was £10 in the sale so thought it was worth a try and it's been great and fits well.

As you can imagine, we get through a lot of the 'weanling' size rugs!
WB are great but wheh they get to the sort of size you need we use Cuddly Pony Club - relaly pleased with them. Fittings are decent and don't get removed by naughty colts, more generous in the bum than foal rugs (often a bit shallow)
And Robinsons Cozy Foals are cheap n cheerful and easy to mend |

Hi Judith,
Glad your babies are thriving and growing. I used a Derby House foal rug I think they go up to 4'9 but my wee guy ended up in a 5' Rhino pony plus in the winter, it fitted beautifully and never moved at all while keeping him very cosy. I thought he might not like the hood but didnt bother at all. His spring collection included the Cuddly Ponies rug which was great too. He needs a new winter rug now so will have to see what fits him best now, its trial and error some of them are too deep which means the surcingles lie too low. Good luck with your search.
