There is an Autumnal feel here this morning up on our mountain in west Wales. Horses have been coating for weeks. The trees are starting to turn colour as well.
It was only 7 degrees in South Yorkshire this morning, I rode early and my fingers and toes were so cold, what a shock, I feel a change of socks and gloves coming! Think my older boy may need his PJ's on soon.
Yes the air had a "fresher" feel this morning and my boys summer coat is on the change. Fingers crossed for a good September, still light nights and a bit of summer to go. Rugs washed and ready, can't think of winter until it's here then I just get in with it
Well I've noticed leaves falling off trees and coats moulting...but in the South East we've had temperatures in the 30's. I love Autumn, stubble fields to ride on!
Last few mornings have felt different :( so much darker morning and evening .... Been very hot here so seems more noticeable. Ali has been lightly moulting for a couple of weeks
