I haven't said much on here about this situation as I wasn't involved but was so terribly upset for all of you and the poor horses. I had a quick look at the RSPCA Facebook page to like Barbara's post (I couldn't see it?) but they are asking for our favourite memories of them. Whilst not a favourite it is what I am going to remember most about them. |

I understand that Evie and/or Rachelle are reading this thread. Can I please ask either of you to contact me, you should have my number still. My email address has changed since we last conversed, but you can pm me here for contact details. I don't need to speak to you if you'd rather not. A text, pm or email will do. I just need to know if my horses are dead or alive. I am appealing to you, please just take 5 minutes to stop my constant fretting. I need to put this to rest now. I need to know if Dirty Harry and Delilah and her foal are dead. Will you do that? Its a very small ask. |

It's shocking that some people still don't know the fate of their horses, my heart goes out to them.

For all that have been following these threads
Please all rest assured that I have been for a few days, and still am in the process of talking to previous owners who did not know about their horses. There were no horses on loan so I'm trying to get hold of previous owners and breeders.
I hope this helps.

Taragun, yes poor Taragun she deserved a retirement in luxury not the terrible end she had.
I received a phone call from Evie (Taragun) a couple of days ago; nothing to do with my beautiful Tara, in fact Evie appeared not to even know she had ever existed, but to ask me to stop posting on here as she wanted to "move on with her life as she had a daughter now and it made it difficult for her to do things with the (I think 8 although she didn't tell me the number) horses she had who were all in good condition. Somewhat different from the horses and dogs who suffered in their care previously. She also sent me a FB friend request along with requests to several others in our FB group. I will tell you now Evie, YOU AND YOUR EVIL MOTHER WILL NEVER BE FRIENDS OF MINE. I don't know how you had the nerve to ask.
Evie showed no remorse for anything that had happened, and in fact called a member of our closed FB group for those of us who have lost horses, a liar when speaking to me. Evie, that is rich coming from you.
So Evie is not working to help me; in fact I have known for ages that my mare must be long dead at the hands of the Peels, not shot by the RSPCA. By her own words she wants to wipe the slate clean and move on as if nothing has happened. Sorry, you are not going to be allowed to do that. What happened at Brook House Farm was truly dreadful and your mother was not cleared, her appeal against her sentence was thrown out because of the lies told at the court case where your mother WAS FOUND GUILTY OF 4 CHARGES. There were numerous other charges that were not heard because of the bungling of the RSPCA, how she had the gall to appeal the very lenient sentence is beyond comprehension; sadly as the court has to look not only at the person being sentenced but at those bringing the charges and as the RSPCA withdrew their case before the appeal was heard (presumably because no one was going to commit perjury on behalf of the RSPCA and their spurious stabling and veterinary charges for horse were already dead, shot at their request).
Where I can I will answer your posts and correct anything you say that is not true; I and several others are watching you. As a family you may have escaped justice but you will not lie indiscrimenantly and stand uncorrected. |

Well said Barbara. Where were you Evie when all those horses were laying down starving in the barn? Or dead with others trampling over them! I don't believe for one minute you never went home for over a year? There was plenty of people out there that would have helped.
And don't you dare try and tell any more lies - I visited the yard at the RSPCA centre where your horses were and I recognised them.
I sat down in the barn with 'mouse' and comforted her. You could see the sadness In her eyes . She had a haunted look. Those beautiful eyes of hers told a thousand tales, and til my dying day I will remember that time I spent with her.
God help any more horses in your possession. I won't use the word 'care' as you and your family showed no care and compassion to those horses. May you rot in hell like your horses did!

Thank you, Rosie. So sad for you to see Mouse like that but bless you for comforting her and showing her kindness , poor, poor girl.
For those who are on here I will pass on your post. Can you pm me with your name, please? Thank you, I won't pass it on just want to know who you are
Thanks again, it may bring some comfort to Mouse's connections if they don't already know.
Should have said "For those who are NOT on here". |

I am sure everyone would like to move on with their lives but they never can in the knowledge of what has happened to their beloved horses. |

Sadly mouse was bred by Peels, so the poor old mare will have gone back to them. What a tough little mare to survive what she went through, but you could see it in her eyes how she suffered in her past. |

Very well said Barbara and Rosie . Evie I do not know how you have the bare faced cheek to try and come on here after what your family did to the animals in your care. When you were having problems looking after them all you had to do was ask for help like others have in the past and people would of been there for you, instead you let your horses starve to death and your dogs live in their own dirt, how can you all sleep at night knowing what you have done. Your name and your mothers name will not be forgotten and I pity any animals still in your care. I agree may you all rot in hell for what you have done. |

Evie, there is no "moving on", "wiping the slate clean" from what has been done, cruelty to animals is unforgivable. Have to add the pain and anguish to conections! It is something you, mother, father have to live with every day and every night forever there is no forgiveness.

Well said indeed Barbara. We will not be forgetting what happened. So many people on here would have helped, but I guess that would have exposed the oh-so-wonderful equestrian outfit the Peels supposedly had as a complete sham. What a truly awful family. |

Thank you all again for your support over the last few years. We are all extremely grateful and you helped to keep us going in the darker times with you discretion and kindness. Sadly, we didn't get the result we wanted and they are free to carry on and do it again. Many of accept that will never know when our horses died or how much they suffered before they died; for many of them death must have come as a relief from their suffering. And in all this let us not forget there were several dogs also living in appalling conditions who were also taken.
We must make sure that this doesn't just fade away, Evie, you misjudged me terribly when you rang me to wipe the slate clean without even knowing my mare had existed and showing no remorse, had you done so I might have had some pity for you. I am just glad Angela Parker is not around to see all this as she bred Tara and loved her horses; she would have been as upset as I am.
Just like I will keep Spitters Creek Bundy in the public eye to try to stop it happening again I will do the same to the Peel family |

I can't believe that Evie has had the audacity to contact owners in this way. The PEEL tragedy will never be forgiven or forgotten.

No Offira, I also thought it a bit crass under the circumstances. Bad judgement, but hey, she's young. |

Disgusting, Offira, just shows what they are like although, to be fair, that was her previous log in when Taragun was bringing her to glory and now poor Taragun is deceased in a horrible manner there is no thought for her in their heads, don't suppose it even occurred to them that it would upset a lot of people as they have no regard the horses in their care; they are only concerned with picking up where they left off with Evie's eventing and a new set of horses. Poor Taragun is just yesterday's trash now. And poor, poor horses that have replaced her. Many of them are the ones who were taken so presumably not in great condition previously. |

We use our horses' names as a tribute to our dearly loved friends. Taragun is certainly loved and remembered, but not by the person using her name! |

Absolute in agreement Offira and with all said to agree above. To be so insensitive is cras and only goes to show the lack of remorse or feeling to those suffering for cruelty done. Can't excuse Evie's bad judgement down to her "being young" as she isn't! Fact is she's tarred with same brush and has to live with it cos we will never let it be forgotten. |

I am another one who hasn't posted here for a very long time but here goes. Rachelle and Evie... You owe these people an explanation with regard to what happened to the horses they bred and sold to you. Could you not simply list here the ones you have had returned? Surely to god you two know which horses perished and when !! You also know which horses were shot by RSPCA. Why not do at least one decent thing in your sorry lives and put these people out of their misery.......or is this just a sick power thing? I personally hope you never ever have another happy day or sleep filled night and may you rot in hell for all eternity for what you have done and how you knew but watched those animals suffer. Dispicable people you really are and remember....Karma is a bitch and she is coming for you all.

Brilliant Birdie.
Thank you for showing us the post, Rui. Evie (or I suspect it may actually be Rachelle posting) all of what has been said is in the public domain so we are at liberty to discuss it wherever and with whomever we choose. It is a disgraceful, sorry affair. We all know that had the RSPCA handled the case properly you would likely have gone to jail and I for one doubt that anyone would have shed a tear over that. We have all shed buckets of tears over the poor horses. If you wish I can post a list of the missing horses on here, well, those we know of, doubtless there may be more, and you can give us all answers as to what has happened to all those horses. Who were the dead horses in the barn that there companions were tramping over; they were too decomposed to recognise let alone do a post mortem on them which is why they could not figure in the trial. Personally I am amazed that it is not a criminal offence, it certainly should be.
I will start the ball rolling. WHAT HAPPENED TO TARA (Sunlea Darreana) the beautiful grand daughter of Ben Rabba? Such precious bloodlines.
For your legal team my name is Barbara Gregory and I live in Suffolk but then you are aware of that already. If they wish to contact me via ALines or FB I will be happy to help. |

I'm not going anywhere either and will continue to remind people of the facts....we no longer have to post in our closed groups for fear of prejudicing the case now!!! So get used to seeing my name here agin..... And for your legal team my name is Mandy Williams and I live in the West Midlands as your mother knows because she tried to get a Cleveland bay brood mare that belonged to a friend of mine......happily my friend saw through her and the mare is still ALIVE !!!! I can also be contacted through here or FB |
