How's every bodies Swallows doing, mine seem to of had a good year for babies, most had 5 or 6 in their first brood then 3 or 4 in their second brood. Most fledged now just a few nests left to fledge now, downside is the horses and stables are covered in poo but it's a small price to pay . My poor farrier had to wipe Swallow poo off the back of my neck and down my back the other day when I was bombed with the stuff from above |

Mine have done really well, only had one casualty, last year we had about 6 that didn't make it. We are covered in poo too, one even managed to get my mug of coffee, now using a travel mug! |

We only had one brood this year and they seem to have gone which is a touch worrying. Haven't seen them around for weeks. |

Our last two swallows went yesterday. Safe journey to them all, so quiet now had to cheer myself up with some cake! |

Yes all mine have gone now, always feel sad when they go as its so quiet in the stables without them. On the bright side I now don,t have to flick bird poo off the horses backs every day Safe trip little ones . |

Yes looking forward to their return. I have pressure washed and painted the stables ready as I hate upsetting them once they arrive. Let's hope they all make it back safe and sound. |

Mine usually arrive in april but numbers are dwindling sadly, love to see the fledglings duck their little heads down when you go in the stables |

Chitter, chitter came the sound from our barn this morning. Two swallows greeted me at 5.30. Yippee. Bit worried though as we have adopted 3 stable cats this year, hope the babies survive. |

Two more in the stables this morning, poor things looked a bit chilly as we had frost last night. |

Another pair arrived last night, it's lovely having them back #128512; The stables were so quiet over winter, now all you can hear is them chattering away. |
