photo by Chris Cole. This is the climb up to the top of the hill and you have to come down the same way heading home at the end. The crew wait at the roadside and we can just see the horses making their way across the top and back down the Hill in the distance.
The Red Dragon is coming very soon now..if you would like to sponsor a horse you can at £5 per day, per horse. It quite easy just enter your name here and leave me a posting.. and you can have any horse from the entry.. Friday, Saturday or Sunday. or all three days for £15. All funds raised will go to ESAF who are feeding the Horses, donkeys and Camels at this time in Giza, Egypt.
Last year £600 was raised as a result of the Red Dragon. Thank You. Sue.xx Evans. Adding a few photos from throughout the year.I asked Dr.Mohammed if when they went to Treat these horses with the mobile clinic could they also take them Greens. if I paid.. 'No Problem' was his reply. so each time they went out with there mobile clinic to hold a clinic. Greens went too.So throughout the year 2013 ESAF provided Greens when they went out to Treat the Horses, Donkeys & Camels.. about two or three times a week. They told me in January when they received the last lot of money collected from the Dragon..that it would pay for the Treatment & feeding of the animals until July 2013. I also sent another donation raised from a Wine Evening in April 2013.Thing took a turn for the worse with the second revolution and its where we join them now. Struggling to feed the 3000 Pyramid horses and of course offering treatment as well. Throughout July, August & up to the 15th. September they have fed & treated 4.466 horses & Donkeys and 391 Camels and as well as the occasional greens they have now started a survival diet of mixed dry food and added vitamins. The money I have just sent to ESAF (Wine Evening Sept) will ensure they get fed for another month.. until the end of October 2013. So Please dip into your pockets for this next fundraiser to help ESAF(Egyptian Society of Animal Friends)& its Vets to continue their good work in Giza with the horses...... and sponsor a horse for the Red Dragon today. I (Sue Evans) have been accredited with the fact that I have sent donation (your donation) to help the situation.(and they have)they refer to me Sue Evans and her UK supporters. group. Thank You. Everyone involved.

Hi Sab, Glad your joining us again. Thank You. Yes, Got you a Palomino Gelding an Akhel. a Bay Mare & Chestnut Gelding. Almost All Sorted now, will watch for any changes this coming week and if anyone fails the vetting before they start I will swop them for 'something' of my choice.. Saraht I had a job to find a third 'Chestnut Mare' so I've added another Grey Gelding instead, so you'll end up with 4 Grey males(one Crabbet stallion) and just two Chestnut mares, hope that will be OK for you. Every one else's horses are now picked. and ready to go. this coming week things might alter slightly but will take it as it comes. Lin, I will see if I came find you another three horses to make up to your £50, that will be £10 a horse just for you. If anyone needs anything else at this stage..please leave me a PM. & Thanks for joining in..it's a great ride and a diferent course over the Hill this time as there are road works on the bridge, so Erwood is out for this year. A map is on line so will post it for you to look at. Might see some of you on Course. Good Luck. & Thank You. Still room for a few more if anyone is interested. Rebecca I have also included you in..so don't worry will keep 'Easi' for you and a girl in Australia named Tallie who wants to join in. Hope that's OK. & Very Good Luck to all involved.. Thanks Sue.xx

Yes, well pleased with the ponies at Hereford Sue and they're now on their holidays....well apart from Suchaking! Paul was indeed delighted, and quite rightly so.
Look forward to seeing you both again....weather's not looking very promising, but surely can't be as bad as that year with Khan!! xx
