my arab mares filly obtained a first premium at myerscough last tuesday in the Show Jumping evaluation. As far as i am aware she is the first part bred arab to receive a first premium for show jumping, or indeed enter the SJ section. 50% arab out of a mare who has produced only pure arabs until now, although was bought by myself specifically to breed a british sport horse from. She is by the young wesfalian stallion Chilensky, I'm a firm supporter of both the BSJA & the AHS. She is the first British sport horse i have bred, & this was the first futurity or such i had entered. I nearly lost the mare through a horrific accident at stud 2yrs ago, which makes this filly even more precious to me, if i can use her to promote british breeding & the influence of the arab horse even better- she is a modern sport horse with the added intelligence of the arab horse & movement to die for. She may or may not be the next tamarillo or milton, but if not maybe offspring of hers will indeed be.
