What a relief to know she finally has a home she deserves. My friend offered to buy her as a riding horse when Di was selling up but she refused as she wanted her to go as a breeding mare. Such a shame as she would have been in a fab home all this time. At last she has what she so needs. |

Hi many thanks for your quick replies. Will put up some photos as soon as i can figure out how to. She looks such a mess at the moment. The vet gave her a body score of 2/5 she is such a sweetheart. We had no idea of her history she was just a skinny arab mare for sale. She is now going to be a spoilt girl. |

Welcome to AL. We're good friends with her breeder Diane Ellis. Our friend has Megs half sister Marbon Tir Na Nog by Marbon Maestro. Kathleen who also posts on here had Megs dam Lindora. We also have a Marbon bred horse, Marbon Masadi but he's not related. |

Gardenia, I've just done that. Very strange, the photos surely show 2 different horses. |

I followed the link and looked at your picture Megs Mummy - oh the poor girl, so thin, thank goodness you bought her, but definitely has stockings, so not the horse in Littlecrabbs' photo, must be some confusion somewhere. |

Omg!! Di would be heartbroken if she saw the state of her. I tried to buy this mare over a year ago but Sally didn't reply to me. Thank goodness she has found a good home now. |

Oh blimey poor Meg..shes very skinny. Thank goodness your sister fell in love and bought her from the field. She is going to really blossom with you. Does anyone know if she has ever been a ridden mare? |
