I have recently bought a new horse and have looked up his breeding on allbreedpedigree, but how do I find out if his origins are polish/russian/egyptian etc? He is by H Tobago and Ross Estara

Any help/pointers would be great

Hi Ria,
I'm certainly no expert but H Tobago is basically Crabbet (>50%) and Russian. On AllBreed pedigree, if you click on a horse in your boy's pedigree that has an asterisk next to it and you get to that horse and see an"I" in a circle, you can click on that and get information; but be aware that the content is not checked for accuracy. I'm sure other ALers are much more knowledgable than me and can give you more help.

Some very nice horses there; a mix of bloodlines, even a little Egyptian! I am sure he is lovely.

He looks like a real mix of bloodlines. Russian, Polish, Spanish, Crabbet & Egyptian (as far as I can see!)
