I have a premier equine buster LOVE IT with all the liners and spare necks, what i don't love is Baz has grown out of the 5'6 at the front but the 5'9 is too big length wise but perfect on chest, does anyone know of any other rugs that have the same neck velcro attachments at the PE rugs, i think Rambo do, but not sure which model? thinking i could just buy him a secondhand rug that i can use all the bits with. Are rambo simalar sizing to PE which are on the normus side!

Can you remind me how the PE rugs fasten? Would an extra piece for the front of yours work? How much too short is it roughly in inches on the front flaps?
I'll try see on their site in the mean time as may be able to help. |

no idea, sorry - but was about to suggest a chest extender/spacer piece. If one doesn't already exist, you could make one? |

Hi, I have the same problem, one of mine is between sizes too.
I have found the PE necks fit on the horseware rhino that I have which is a blue checked one that is about 4 years old. The PE necks also fit on the Rambo Duo and California rugs as I have used them on these rugs for one of my other horses.
You could also adapt another rug like an Amigo by getting the velcro attachments stitched on to take the PE neck. It's not too difficult as I have done this before.
I also made a chest expander to give my chap a bit more room around the chest but I did find he had rubs either side. Wasn't sure if it was the chest expander's fault or the fact that the rug had no leg gussets.
It's a real difficult one as I recently purchased a 5'9" Mark Todd turnout as my chap had outgrown the same rug in a 5'6" only to find it hung below his knees and was baggy around the neck - groan!
It seems when they go from a 5'6" to a 5'9" they are expected to have gone through some complete transformation in shape!
Sorry can't be of more help but wish you luck in finding something suitable.
PE are quite helpful so may be worth contacting them for suggestions.
