Hi, does anyone know of an existing or since closed stud there? Trying to trace the breeding of a horse and he came from a stud described as above. Thanks

Hi Annas, I think you might be talking about Roselind Moore's stud. Don't know if she is still breeding anything, but she used to breed Arabs & her husband (who's name escapes me now) bred Shires, mainly for export to America from what I remember Ros telling me. She did live in Fishtoft near Boston. Had a stallion by A K El Sanari, Sen Raf (I think!). Hope this helps you in your search for info! Regards, Kim |
Many years experience owning & riding my own horses. Fell in love with Arabians at 11 years old when given a ride on "Trevallion", a 3/4 bred who was a livery where I worked as a stablehand. I have never forgotten that ride, Thank You Yvonne- should you ever read this!I now have 2 beautiful purebreds.

Wow! Sounds like my guess about AK El Sennari may be right then Actually I'd already checked Senraf's progeny on allbreeds and the one Annas talking about isn't listed, but it may just be that no one has added him. Fingers crossed you find out more. |

So clever, thank you. It's incredibly exciting....so annoyed I can't do any proper research until I get near a pc. X |

Ooh exciting if he is the unregistered colt then he has full brother. So if that's him he has Polish, Crabbet and Egyptian in his breeding. |

Gosh well done Jo, all I knew when I looked on allbreeds was that there are a lot of relations of the Arabs that I used to work with....Hurrah, hurrah..... |

Given his brothers' names maybe he started off as just Sennati?
Lovely breeding if that is the one (sounds very likely to me )
Rosalind Moore's stud was called Marsh Farm Arabians, and her email address and phone number (and postal address) are on the free stud listings on here

Don't know if they are still current. |

Is there a chance that he is registered with the AHS but under a different name? If not, why would he perhaps not have been registered? |

If the Sennator was Chestnut I think I may know him- a friend of mine has a gelding with that name and I think he may be about that age. I can find out more about him if you would like. |

Have you tried contacting Marsh Farm Arabians? Are they still there? I thought he was foaled in 2006? (if he's 6 years old) - does seem as though we're getting closer...he could be by Sen Raf out of another mare at the stud? |

I don't have any pictures of Senraf, but Senjai is by Senraf out of Grai Milanda, he's the third and fourth picture in my signature. I can post some bigger pictures if you want. |

Someone at the Lindum endurance ride last year recognised Senj, they knew either a sibling or half sibling of his by Senraf and they were astonished at how big Senj is as the horse they knew was much smaller. Sorry I have a terrible memory for names, so can't tell you more than that. |

I have spoken to Ros and the gelding she thinks he 'may' be one of hers and that he was sold with papers. His name would be Silver Sennari...can anyone shed any light on his registration details? Thanks for your help ladies! |
