Freddie and I have finally settled in at our yard, unfortunately the farmer who owns it is selling it, he wants all the horses out by the end of January, latest, but if the sale goes through before, in about six weeks. So I'm desperate, well we all are (8 horses) for somewhere new, so if anyone lives near Gamlingay (Beds/Cambs/Huntingonshire) borders have any space? Also he doesn't box .... that was something we were going to work on in the new year .... neighbours garden looks promising, lol :(

Did you try the directory link I sent you? Hopefully other people can PM you some links as most commercial yards and even small yards are advertising on the bigger websites nowadays. Good luck x |

I am near your area and know how hard it is to find somewhere especially with 8! How are they kept...in or out? would you be prepared to split them if needs be?We have a local facebook page ,'everything equine, herts beds and bucks, cambs and the rest of the world!' bit of a mouthful but may be worth a try. will keep eyes peeled for you. |

Hi Carole, yes I tried that site with no joy. Faymouse, they can all be split, I'd like to go with a friend, but I really have to think of Freddie first, one has two and the yard manager has three, otherwise all individuals. As much as we'd all like to stay together we know it's not going to happen. All out 24/7 in the Summer and in at night since the clocks changed. Thanks any help appreciated. Thank you. |
