| Our welsh sec A pony is scared of whips and strangers,we don't know what has gone on in her past but clearly something has.When we got her she was nervous, headshy and grumpy, we were just kind and patient with her, haven't done what I would call NH, more just common sense, now we can do anything with her and she is so friendly and a totally different pony,but she still doesnt like strangers and we don't use whips anyway. On the other hand my arab who has just gone on loan and has never been illtreated is so different, you can wave whips all around near her and touch her all over with them and she just looks at you like What are you doing now? But little pony would jump a mile. Arab is also really friendly with everyone, not bothered by new people. Its interesting to see the difference in their responses due to how they have been treated. |
