(I am asking Admin to please allow me to advertise this as its all in aid of charity) We had a meeting today and are now booked into a wonderful venue on the 9th of July at the "AZUR" in Hastings, East Sussex, for the Charity ball for the Princess Alia foundation and Brooke Hospital. My friend and I will be selling tickets and a wonderful night will be had by all. There will be live entertainment, a huge dancefloor, a balcony which it opens out overlooking the beach, there wil be a BBQ meal, raffle, anyone wanting to attend will be most welcome to contact me by PM.there is going to be an auction of some wonderful things including a balloon flight , dinner for two, a weekend break for two and many many other amazing things
Its not necessarily a horse orientated night but if anyone is interested I will offer a covering to my stallion WSA Charismma*** as an online extra with the money going to the charity, again, make an offer by PM . we are seriously expecting to raise a good amount for these most worthy of Charities . If you can come you will be doing great things for a good cause and having a wonderful time to boot .

I think this is a wonderful event you are staging Lynda, thinking what I can offer you for the raffle. I might buy some tickets for my dear friend who lives not far from there. You have really taken on some task here as it will snowball. Much Luck coming your way x |

OK, if you think it'll help you can have a covering from Montoya. I'll sort the finer details out later on for you.
His stud fee in Europe is 2,000 Euros.
My friend lives in Crawley Down and she has already said she will come along (not a horsey person) I might try and make it with her it could be fun.

Perhaps some of the other guys from the SE/Surrey area would be interested - BNO?
I'll have a chat with them - if not, I'll drag Henry along with me |

OK re pm's. But we need guidelines, ie. If the stallion dies (hate to even say it!) but we must be realistic. Swabs and all normal fees associated to stud must also apply. Many of these raffle coverings can go wrong. In the event of no stallion available next season then I guess a stud fee would have to be re-imbursed to the highest bidder who wins the covering? And I need a cut off date for the last bid? please think of one!!
I'll have two tickets then. Good excuse to dress up and see my old friend. Will you arrange PayPal.....

Ok I see your point, I have frozen semen if anything was to happen to crimbo, so I have that to fall back on, but I think as the bidding will not obviously go as high as his stud fee the bidder must realize all the same swabs Etc will have to be respected. blimey how do I arrange paypal ???? ooeerrr , beleive it or not I used to be in Promotions years ago in another life !) but how we go about things these days is a whole different ball game ( anyone want to be my secertary? ) |

I was joking about PayPal, but it is an excellent way of paying for things!
Also who does the lucky bidder pay the money to, can they pay direct to the fund or charity rather than me? and we should give them written conformation that they have the covering and all that goes with it?
I'm not deliberately trying to be difficult just trying to cover my bum

Tickets will be printed and available to buy as of next week I think . we will be advertising locally , we are stepping up the fabulous offers for the auction and " Judie kent Pyrah", famous artist of fine paintings has kindly donating one of her paintings bless her (google her website to see her work ! amazing!.) if anyone has something fabulous to offer.maybe you would consider the possibility of putting it in our auction?[8DI apart from the balloon flight, I know we have weekend breaks for two on offer already, anyone with a B and B in Wales, France? or somewhere nice could maybe offer a weekend break ? all in a good cause |
