Just back from a holiday with an old friend in south of France who has 2 Barb stallions at stud, from North Africa, and became very curious if there is any Barb stallion at stud in UK now?

In 2005 while in Somerset/UK visiting my son at Millfield school, I saw some poloponies (spotted) and was told that they was by a spotted barb called Motedado out of local breed mares, Motedado was a spotted stallion imported from the Royal stables in Rabat, Marocco.I have never heard of a spotted barb, is he purebred or appaloosa cross?
