The first was taken at the end of last summer and the rest were last weekend  She had been in the vet hospital for 3 1/2 weeks after getting a wood splinter in her throat. She's very happy to be home
After she tired herself out in the field lol

These were taken by Karen (Alkara Arabians, Chips' breeder) when she visited on 5.3.11. My "little man" won't be two until 30th May!
I am so thrilled with him and I know Karen is too - and his baby sister Della looks SO much like him! Probably a pipe dream.....but Chips and Della in ridden pairs

can I add my own 2009 baby , growing well and finding he is a boy now so has to be segregated from the girls
he doesn't like that much, but he does have midgit(shetland ) to keep him company .

Thank you! Chips is already taller than Roger and has a front to die for. I brought Chips into the yard today for a good groom before going out for a walk; I almost had to stand on tip-toes to reach the top of his quarters..... and I'm 5' 7" It won't be too many years before we'll meet up on Pleasure rides, I'm sure!
He's such a sweetie; due to work commitments he'd only been out for one walk (with Scandal) this winter, but I took him out on his own today and he didn't put a hoof wrong (if you're reading this, Karen, it was exactly the same route we drove with Roger).

Have not taken any pics this year as yet.....but our May 2009 Anglo is now being nicknamed "giraffe" by my friends who have seen him recently. He now stands 15.3hh and looks like he still has some growing to do. So...forget Large Hack......he is going to be a Large Riding Horse and maybe one day, he will go Eventing

Have to agree with you there Alison Mum is 15.3hh and Dad, is 15.2hh
Elmdale Stud also used our stallion on her 14.2hh PBA Pony and her two year old is also huge... standing 15.lhh now, with a yearling full blood bro going the same way, as already way taller than his Dam.
Size of stallion or mare...does not always dictate the size of progeny. We expect another (maybe as big as our giraffe)?? sibling in May, so will be interesting to see if he/she will grow very tall
