I explained why, back then. The issue was not the photo competition itself, but the fact that the link was to a horse ads site. I apologize, but we will not willingly generate traffic to sites that compete with us selling horse adverts.
It's not the first time that members have used the site to request votes for contents. It is always allowed if the link does not violate our rules on links, which yours did, Qui Gon Jinn.
