I would like to enter a local in hand show at the end of the month...
BUT azie is extremely hairy from the winter and we have only ever done one show so I dont have the know how...
He hasnt really started losing his coat yet and he is an extremely hairy arab, face, legs, everywhere!!!
So what do i do....clip him on a longer blade or do i just use elbow grease and grooming blocks?

| I'd go for elbow grease and grooming blocks - you've got til the end of the month. Clipping now will include his summer coat, even if it doesn't look like it. |

I'd clip too, probably 2 weeks before the show?
I am clipping my bay filly tomorrow, her first show is also 17th April, but for my stallion, who is grey, he will be done the weekend before. Very lazy.... |

id go for the elbow grease. you would almost definately clip into the summer coat. i would definately rug and groom lots and lots and lots for the best results.  |
