i had a lady knock on my door, shes deaf and was selling drawings to help her deaf and blind school. looking through her portfolio of drawings i saw this one and i loved it so brought it and reaad on the back it just says aarabian horse.
just wondering if anyone recconise this lovely horse :D
Sounds like the old 'starving artist ' scam again. If she was genuine she would have had a bone fide ID. Most of this 'art' is produced by the thousand in the far east and sold door to door by scammers for huge profits, they usualy have a sob story to tell you. sad part is ,the people producing this stuff are quite competant artists who are paid a pittance for churning them out like a production line.
Wasn't there another or even the same, picture on here a while ago? Got the vague feeling someone even came up with a name for that one! Mind you it could be the mists of time I'm wandering in and not even the same forum....
Sounds like the same kind of people that have tried selling drawings round here, although for one to be deaf is a new one! Most likely they can't speak English properly. "Our" bunch were from Estonia and they couldn't speak English either although they knew all about our currency
