The latest info posted on their message board. Hope all is well when the vet attends.
'April and Captain are doing well this morning and we are waiting a little longer on the vet. We wanted to give him enough time to absorb what colostrum he could from April, plus the double dose of colostrum supplement that I've given him before we test his IgG level to see if he needs plasma. Once things settle down a bit, he will be back on cam again. Thank you to everyone that has been supportive!'
OK so I've only just noticed that they post updates under the camera picture!
It says
The vet just left, and Captain got a thorough going-over! His IgG was low, as we expected, so he got a bag of plasma into him. He also got some antibiotics and vitamins. Last, but not least, he got a tet. shot for the tight tendon in his back foot and the vet made him a little splint to wear.
So that explains why he's walking in an odd way but my next question is why would he get a tet shot for a tight tendon?
