I have recently moved my mare to a little yard down the road, but there is nobody there who appreciates the wonderful arabian breed and I miss discussing gorgeous arabians with likeminded people so was wondering if anyone would like to meet up?
I have put the above areas in the title of this thread, but could spread as far as Devon, Cornwall, South Wales. I am based in Bristol but don't mind travelling.
Anyone else interested?

I'm in the Forest of Dean, about 7 miles from the Severn Bridge. We could always chatter on the phone. There is a group of Arab enthusiasts who meet in Raglan. Suggest you pm Weirton on here who is one of the organisers. PM me if you want to chat. |

Hi Jo,
Would be interested in a meet up if gets off the ground.
Have been to a couple of the meetings of the club that meets in Raglan.
Unless you go to an endurance event there aren't that many, or don't seem to be, Arabs around here either.

Excellent, how about the 26/27th February for a meet up then? Don't know which area would suit? There are a couple of pubs on the A46 just off junction 18 of the M4 which could be quite central? But I haven't lived down here that long so if anyone can suggest anything better please do so.

If you can't get anything organised more locally you are very welcome to come along to the Monmouth meet up (points evening and free buffet) on Friday 25th Feb at Raglan Golf Club.

Hi Jo, nope, can't do that w/e, sorry. First of the stumbling blocks in trying to meet up is a suitable date for everyone.
Perhaps a meet up at an event already scheduled as Weirton/Jean mentioned is the way to go.
Or there's always a day out Arab racing or at an Arab show, one of the ones at Malvern maybe.
Just have to get everybody to wear a label or something......lol.

| Hi locals - I too am in the area; about 30mins Long Ashton or 10mins from Burnham motorway junction and would love to hear from anyone about their arabs and stories; always good to share local news and views and an indulgence if its with like minded arab enthusiasts. Our family are two very special mares and an adorable youngster plus a new forester trying hard to master arab ways. |
