Or i thought he was at bychan arabians. He is one of my fave stallions he is stunning. Wanted to put him to my mare but he isnt that tall (i dont think?) and my mare is only small 14.2hh to, so decided not to choose that option, as i wanted something over 15hh. He has produced some amazing offspring xxxxx

I don't think he's back at Bychan yet. Rod and Kimberly live in the ME.

Is he really wow!! Your boy's dam Khymanoa was quite small wasn't she? Kuraishiya, her dam (my mare) is bigger than her even at 15.1. Interesting!

I didnt say he produced small, but my mare has done and with her being petite frame i was thinking of a stallion 15.2hh or over. I was in no way putting him down he is my fave stallion. He would still be an option i would love to choose, especially with you both telling me the sizes your horses have made

I love Master Design, we have a really nice Warmblood mare and if I were to put her in foal to an Arab stallion would definitely consider him.

parkvillenerog5 we have a rising 3yo filly by Master Design out of a 14.2 Crabbet mare. I measured her last weekend at 15.1 already so I agree with the others that he throws BIG (and beautiful)

You wouldn't be disappointed with the result I'm sure.

Good luck

Hi - Master Design is 15.1 hands and whilst Rod is currently working in Saudi Arabia, Kim is holding the fort at home :-) Master Design is advertised on the stallions section here of Arabian Lines

My horse is on the small side, he has been bred to other small arabians , and produced 16 hands several times , so judge not the sire OR dam , you could be surprised !. likewise you could pick a big stallion who could give you a 14 hand !
If you like the stallion go for it, Arabs should not be judged on size anyway ( dont forget 13/2/ 14hand Arabians could carry a man into battle all day , size is never an issue with them why should it be with us

We seem to be obsessed with the height of Arabs in this country

Maybe seeing a stallion relaxed and standing like dobbie the donkey in the stable, everyone thinks he is small, when the same horse comes out all puffed up and proud they stand so tall to their natural height it makes you do a double take!

Lynda my crimbo daughter actually looks small, but we measured her and she is a good 15.1hands, more than enough for me thanks.
Montoya when measured here last, was the same height as her and still has years to grow, but he does have the ability to throw much taller babies. I think Elaine's gelding who is only 2yrs old has nearly hit 16hands Too tall for me but for a rider it sounds great I suppose.

I like something around 15 hands thanks, with the arab presence they always look and ride bigger.

As I've said before it's not always what's in front of you that comes to the fore - look back into the horses which created that

Toman is 15.1 and although not huge amounts of stock on the ground his children vary in size. His sire Grand was 16hh - we've bred a couple here who should definately reach that size but beware of breeding too tall that you dont just increase the length of the cannon - make sure everything is in proportion

Master Design breeds quality, size and wonderful temperaments, I believe he is in Germany but will return - better I have two ladies waiting for his attentions
