As there is so much criticism of the AHS and I admit to having moaned about them in the past myself. I would just like to give them some praise for a change as we humans only tend to report anything when we're not happy rather than when we are. Anyway quite amusing really, but not at the time I had to apply for an FEI passport for my mare as we are fortunate to have been invited to join the World Class Start & Performance Squad (Formerly known as Development Squad) of EGB with the possibility of riding in Belgium later this year, for which she needs the said passport and as it takes time to organise, I can't leave it until the death. On digging out my national passport that was kept safe in a plastic bag in my office, I found to my horror that it was saturated and stank of cat pee. Somehow the cat must have been locked in the office and managed to pee right into the bag and my passport was ruined. To cut a rather long story shorter- Ros at the AHS Office was so helpful, produced a replacement with a turn around of about 3 days. all I have to don now is get my vaccination record transcribed into the new one and signed by my Vet who is coming here on Monday. So 3 cheers for Ros and Chris Scott at EGB who was also very helpful, even if he did have to wear a peg on his nose for a few days
Sue J - really nice to hear and as you say people dont highlight the good things. I will make sure Roz knows about your post. Good luck with your competing and hope it all goes well.
