Bertie (Shahir Neesaan) had his first lesson yesterday.
When he first went into the arena, he saw himself in the mirror and he was so excited seeing 'another' horse and was neighing his little heart out to it
Hes only a baby and we were very impressed how he went for Michelle. Its a big, busy competition/livery yard, so there was loads going on around him but he soon started to settle & listen.
Very impressed for his first time ridden away from home, and he didn't have Rosie for company.
Lots to learn but an excellent first lesson Well done Chelle & Bertie.

What a big grown up boy!
Well done Chelle for flying the flag with the next generation. Warms the cockles of my heart to see you bringing on a youngster to take the baton from Rosie when she finally becomes a lady of leisure. Super |

He really wanted to say "hello" to the handsome horse he's seen, didn't he! He looked to be concentrating and working nicely - well done.

chelle has loads of plans for him this year so fingers crossed all goes to plan.
Shes hoping to take him out hunting for an hour or so next month (I'm going with her on Rosie - I've not been out with the hounds for about 25 years!!! ) & if the flat work goes well, she may try him at a simple dressage comp, riddden showing, pleaasure ride etc............ |
