Ive just seen my boys for the first time in a fortnight due to breaking my back on boxing day :( the girls have done a fab job of looking after them (a little too well judging by the size of their bellies!) but Boysie looks like hes been over mollycoddled rug wise and the result is a 4 inch gap of missing mane half way down his neck
so...do I leave it for now and see if I can "hide" it nearer to the show season... or bite the bullet and pull his mane so it will all grow at the same rate??
Hi, buy flowers of sulphur powder from internet only about £2.50 a bag and mix with brylcream or mane and tail spray. use everyday and you will see lots of new growth.
I tried the mega trek last summer on my boy when he rubbed most of his mane away - it is good - and helps your nails, but be careful that it doesnt encourage the horse to rub/itch more like it did with mine
i tried the sulphur powder mentioned above and it didnt work for my horse
