Hi just wondered if anyone has had any results with magnetic stable wraps and which ones they use? Also if they are ok to put on wet legs? I have some waffle ones for my mare which are fine on wet legs but wanted magnetic ones for my older gelding who dales x tb he's started being slightly lame when going out in the morning only for five steps or so but would obviously prefer he didn't  he goes out 12 hours roughly every day and won't stay out without my mare

| I use the Veredus Wraps and think they definately help! I wouldn't put them on wet legs though as they have quilted linings.... what you could do though is buy some without linings (or remove the linings) and use them over your waffle boots? Or you could buy the magnets (you can find 'kits' online) and sew them in? |

I have used Bioflow in the past and thought that they actually did something. My mare used to be very stiff in the morning with her Laminitis and she was late teanage and if I put them on her at night there was a definate improvement in them morning, I say that it kept her blood flowing and she used to walk out ok.
A friend of mine has an old eventer that is quite bad with artharitus and she uses them all the time and she can see an improvement, she used to give hima bute a night but has stopped this now and just relies on the magnetic wraps/boots.

| I would second the Bioflow as well. I used them on a mare with arthritis and there was definitely a marked improvement on her gait. They were recommended to me by someone whose judgement I would trust implicitly |

i bought some cheap ones on a certain well known auction site, i swear they are the reason my mare came sound so quickly, they are neoprene so can be used on wet legs, but only for a couple of hours or so. they also seem to be working on my dog too.  |

| I would also recommend Bioflow boots. My teenage gelding had digital flexor tendon injury, was lame for nearly year which has left him with large windgall like swellings on both back legs. I bought the tendon boots for turnout last year but found he sweated underneath and legs got a bit sore (fine skinned Arab). Now got the tendon wraps which go on overnight in stable and this has reduced the swellings by about 75%. I definitely think they are helping him and the brilliant thing with Bioflow is that you have a 3 month guarantee and can return them if they don't work (less handling charge I think). When I explained my horses problem, the distributor gave me a 6 MONTH GUARANTEE. I found it difficult to find the wraps as they are now discontinued I think but I do have a distributor name who still had some stock if any one wants it pm me. |

Pasha what a good idea though must admit I wouldn't trust my sewing and wouldn't really know quite where to put them?!
With bioflow wraps do we think they could be used on wet legs and which area of the legs does it cover? Just my fields are really rather muddy well up to his fetlocks and obviously a bit above gets muddy and unfortunately I work a stupid amount of hours and don't have time to dry them much as u would like too :( |

On the bioflow website it says to make sure the legs are free from mud and are clean, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I could be wrong though, but I am sure I have been told not to apply the boots/wraps to wet legs!

| If the Equilibrium ones are made out of the same stuff as they're normal stable wraps, then they can be put onto wet/muddy legs |
