Hallelujah!!!!!......finally, it is FINALLY getting acknowledged what Anglo Arab and Part Bred Arab Breeders/Owners/Exhibitors HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN!!!Just look into the results at all the Major Championships Shows, check out the breeding of the top placed horses and Ponies...yes, and including HOYS...what will you find, their breeding nearly always contains Arab, Anglo Arab or Part Bred Arab bloodlines
The comments having been made by Stuart Hollings, a major producer of ridden Ponies and Horses, has been a long time coming. Finally acknowledging the quality and importance of Anglo and Part bred Arabs in Show Ponies and Horses across the board, in all `type` classes, is indeed a welcome promotion Anglos and Part Breds, flying the flag as they always have been, now being verbally praised within the pages of Horse and Hound.....Hallelujah Hallelujah

Well said Babs - at last we have something good to shout about. Our Anglos and Partbreds are out there flying the flag every weekend. Well said Stuart and a big thank you should go to all our Anglo and Partbred breeders/exhibitors they show the general horse public why we all love the Arabian be it Pure, Anglo or Partbred.

We got a little mention as well on page 20 in the News column. 'Arab Rider delighted' they have picked up our story from the HOYS competitors stories on the website.
Unfortunately they failed to mention that Emily Cooper was actually riding Merlin (El Sahir) and have put him in the Ridden Geldings section instead of the Ridden Stallions.
Nevertheless we were delighted to see him in the magazine. |

I think this fairly answers those who asked "What relevance is H&H?"

Yes, definitely a good week for Arabs in H & H in the current issue, and all of the mentions positive too! (If not quite accurate in El Sahir's case ). Really nice to have an endurance rider featured for a change too. |
