I am proud to say that I shant be fulfilling my offer to eat my mums socks if Fferzan didnt behave in the ridden 2 hours after his in hand class at Towerlands this weekend!
My boy was the only horse to do both in hand and ridden in the same day, he was 3rd and a silver medal in the inhand and 3rd again in a strong ridden gelding class anybody who saw my face would have seen my joy.
I am very proud of my horse a true showman and he did it in style and it proves how an arab can change bridles and attitude in such a short space of time.

I can't resist adding that Fferzan trotted into that arena with Mark to tumultuous support including screams and whoops and even a bit of "bagging". He wasn't in the least frightened, despite being quite a stressy horse (fair to say Lou?)because he has been trained and he knows the game. He looked fabulous. As Lou says, two hours later he trotted into the same arena under saddle knowing he was doing something different and didn't put a foot wrong. He was brilliant and nobody turns a horse out better than Louisa! It was a wonderful show at Towerlands this year! Thank you to everyone who organised it. We all had a great time. |

Having read all the stuff that was written prior Towerlands and Lou's reply regarding her in-hand/ridden boys, I would just like to say how ffabulous Fferzan was. He took everything in his stride and obviously did it the hard way round in-hand to ridden. Louise, I wish I could of found you after because I just wanted to say how ffabulous he is, Mark showed him as excellent as ever and you gave a great ridden performance. What a superstar and congrats on your results with Darcy. He is my favourite gelding on the show circuit and he looked as wonderful as ever. Keep doing what you do Louise, as you obviously have a winning formula |

Thankyou Marilyn,
Darcy is more laid back than Fferzan he is a cool dude and takes everything in his stride so for sure he will be doing both and I hope Darcy will enjoy jumping as much as fferzan does also
Looking forward to the piccies dad and I have a very long list for you already

Hi Lou
Just out of interest, have you kept a record of how many wins/championships both in-hand and ridden that Fferzan has claimed since you first began with him? I bet it's an amazing amount.
